"We've seen the positive impact that our programs can have firsthand and have heard kids, parents and providers rave about the outcomes after the day comes to an end," said TeamSmile Executive Director John McCarthy. "We're thrilled to be able to partner with BIOLASE and Sporting Kansas City to bring free oral healthcare to kids in Kansas City and ultimately instill positive dental habits that will carry into their adulthood."

BIOLASE and TeamSmile have co-hosted several programs in Los Angeles and Dallas since they launched their partnership in 2018; this is the first one in the Kansas City area. These programs give children the opportunity to not only receive free screenings, preventive care, radiographs and laser treatments onsite, but also demonstrate that dental procedures no longer have to be painful or scary. The organizations plan to continue partnering together on additional initiatives in the future to further advance dentistry among families and dentists nationwide.

"Our goal is to serve members of communities across the country by providing access to innovative oral health solutions," said BIOLASE CEO Todd Norbe. "Partnering with TeamSmile allows us to simultaneously treat and educate kids from different neighborhoods across the country. Now, with our first program in Kansas City and the support of Sporting Kansas City and TeamSmile, we are able to extend our care and education to a new group of children."

The program will take place at Children's Mercy Park, 1 Sporting Way, Kansas City, KS 66111. For more information, please visit http://teamsmile.org/.
